The Players’ Tribune and Assouline collaborated on I’ve Got a Story to Tell. Co-founded by Derek Jeter in 2014, The Players’ Tribune pioneered a direct-to-athlete storytelling platform, creating space for unfiltered perspectives. Published by Assouline, the book features over 80 first-person pieces from the worlds most iconic and accomplished athletes. The cover, layered with gold-foiled names of every featured contributor, forms a visual emblem of the book’s collective voice. Inside, award-winning illustrations by Becca Estrella (created specifically for this title) divide each chapter and appear alongside rich original photography and nostalgic archival imagery, adding visual richness to stories of triumph, loss, and self-definition.
